Free print imposition tool for A4 and A3 sheets

Print Imposition Studio helps prepare several business cards or image designs for printing on a single sheet. Instead of positioning items manually, add your JPG, PNG or WEBP designs, choose A4 (210 × 297 mm) or A3 (297 × 420 mm), and set the required dimensions in millimetres. The live preview shows how the finished layout fits on the paper before you export.

Impose business cards at exact sizes

Start with 80 × 50 mm or 85 × 55 mm business cards, or enter a custom width and height. Set the number of copies, choose portrait or landscape paper, and control horizontal and vertical gaps. Auto Fit calculates the arrangement, while Auto Center and position sliders let you refine it to suit the job.

Bleed, crop marks and print layout

For designs that extend beyond the finished cut edge, enable bleed and select its width. Crop marks can be displayed to help identify trim positions. Check spacing and paper boundaries carefully: the preview highlights layouts that do not fit the selected sheet.

Export an A4 or A3 print-ready PDF

Export the result as a multi-page PDF at the physical sheet dimensions, with a 300 DPI raster rendering target. The number of PDF pages depends on how many copies fit on each sheet. For sharp printed results, start with images that already have enough pixel resolution for their chosen size; exporting at 300 DPI cannot restore detail missing in a small source image.

How to make a printable imposition layout

1. Choose one or more JPG, PNG or WEBP designs.
2. Pick the card size, A4 or A3, and page orientation.
3. Set copies, gaps, bleed and crop marks if needed.
4. Check the first-sheet preview and adjust the placement.
5. Export the PDF and verify it in your print workflow.
